DeepFellow CLI

DeepFellow command line interface is used to install, configure, and manage DeepFellow Infra and Server.

Installation

To install DeepFellow CLI on every machine dedicated to be DeepFellow Server or DeepFellow Infra, run the installer for your platform:

curl https://deepfellow.ai/install.sh | bash

DeepFellow CLI requires a POSIX shell and Docker Compose, so it does not run natively on Windows. Install it through WSL instead. From PowerShell, run:

irm https://deepfellow.ai/install.ps1 | iex

This checks for WSL, installs it if it's missing, and then runs the same universal installer inside your WSL distribution.

If WSL isn't installed yet, the script exits and prompts you to run wsl --install (or wsl --install -d Ubuntu if WSL is present but no distribution is set up) as Administrator, then restart your computer and re-run the PowerShell command.

Some minimal WSL distributions, such as a fresh Ubuntu image, don't ship uv, pipx, or even pip by default. If the installer fails with Error: No package manager found, open your WSL distribution with wsl, install uv, and re-run the PowerShell command:

curl -LsSf https://astral.sh/uv/install.sh | sh

Restart your WSL shell, or run source ~/.bashrc, so uv is on PATH.

Once installed, run DeepFellow CLI commands from inside your WSL distribution.

To verify successful installation of DeepFellow CLI, type deepfellow:

$ deepfellow
`deepfellow --help` for help with commands.

To remove the CLI, see Uninstall.
